Personnel Management at Salvage Logging

(Foto: Forstbilddatenbank B-W)

Experiences after the storms "Vivian", "Wiebke" and "Lothar" have shown that storm damages can only be managed with a large personal input of all employees. Personnel can be supported by various measures to absorb their permanent workload. Next to personnel management guidelines (communication, stress relief) are concrete instruments such as the handling of extra work/overtime, relocation and assignment of supporting personnel as well as the use of foreign workers/contractors of importance.
